看到黑莓平板电脑操作系统1.0（RIM BlackBerry Tablet OS 1.0）,让我想起了Mac OS X 10.0, iOS 1.0，Android 1.0，这些操作系统第一个版本发布时，功能都很有限也不稳定：不能播放DVD或刻录CD光盘，iOS1.0甚至不支持的应用程序，Android1.0不包括视频播放器或录音机，不支持立体声蓝牙，不支持与微软的数据交换。
RIM公司表示，该操作系统是一个长达十年的计划的一部分。在当今竞争激烈的平板电脑和智能手机市场，会有时间去追赶吗？于是RIM推出了搭载黑莓平板电脑操作系统1.0（RIM BlackBerry Tablet OS 1.0）的PlayBook.
但是，跟iOS1.0一样，APP应用程序在哪里呢？
尽管如此，PlayBook依然很优秀：背面时硬橡胶，绚丽，超敏感触控屏幕，超轻薄（0.9磅）。
