Facebook的最新游戏CityVille，不仅是社交网络平台上最大的游戏，也成为Facebook上最大的游戏。
VentureBeat报道，据FACEBOOK市场分析应用程序数据，截至到本周末Zynga的CityVille游戏平均每月超过8400万用户，超过了FarmVille在2010年3月创下的8376.00万用户高峰，。
虽然两者大致相同，与FarmVille区别在于CityVille是以中央主题背景为中心的，用户可以建立自己的城市，建立的城市有个完整的结构，跟现实生活一样。
像FarmVille一样，用户就可以联系Facebook的朋友一起建立和发展城镇。与FarmVille不同的是，游戏节奏更快，更刺激。
CityVille12月2日首次亮相，是Facebook上增长最快的应用和社交游戏。游戏继续增长，并根据InsideSocialGames博客，Facebook在美国的知名度海外的迅速扩张，，每月能为游戏带来最多125万美元的会员。
Zynga每月拥有2.819亿活跃用户，在Facebook有七个最常玩的游戏。他们的竞争对手是起飞猴，每月只有5700万活跃用户。
